In 1997, H. Lundbeck A/S made a serious commitment to help improve the quality of treatment for patients suffering from illnesses of the central nervous system (CNS). It did so by founding the Lundbeck Institute with the following vision:

"Through educational activities to contribute to improve quality of life for patients suffering from psychiatric and neurological diseases"

• The Lundbeck Institute is an objective initiative of H. Lundbeck A/S.
• The Lundbeck Institute's activities are controlled by the Lundbeck International Neuroscience Foundation.
• A Faculty approves the Lundbeck Institute's educational content and activities.
